  I have stayed here in the past. Very nice space huge great room kitchen is well stocked, the downtown plaza is a one block walk. Would always choose to stay here.

  Upstairs on Vine was a wonderful vacation rental. We had a total of six people and there was plenty of room. It is very open and airy with high ceilings and wood floors. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. It was a close walk to town and a very short drive to most of the wineries on Route 46. I would definitely would return.

  The spacious apartment had everything we needed. The rooms were large, well-appointed, and very clean. The main room was open-concept: living, dining, kitchen, so had plenty of room for our family of four and guests who stopped by for meals. The location was in walking distance to everything you could need, with the possible exception of a grocery store. Great place to stay when visiting the area.

  This was our first visit to Paso Robles but definitely won't be our last! We had a great experience at Upstairs on Vine. The location is literally a 5 min walk to the downtown square/park which was important to us as we prefer to not get in our car again
  until we leave when on vacation. In addition, it was absolutely spotless, well-decorated, and had all of the amenities we could have possibly needed. We were a bit hesitant to be staying in an apartment-type location but we felt more like we were in a private
  bungalow. Below Upstairs on Vine are two offices and we never once heard or saw people even though we were in and out of the property at all times. We tend to stay in hotels versus rental properties but that may change after this experience! Our original intent
  was to stay at La Bellasera but were so glad we decided not to when we drove by on our way out of town; it is a few miles from town and sits right on the 101. The only potential downside is that it is on a busier street so you hear traffic if the windows are
  open. It didn't bother us, as we live in a downtown area and are used to traffic noise, but I can see where it might be bothersome early morning if you aren't used to this. Kathy was great through the reservation process and the owner, Doug, was very gracious
  and helpful upon our arrival even recommending multiple places to go. It was just my husband and me on this trip (celebrating our 9 year wedding anniversary) but we decided if (or rather when!) we go back with another couple this would still be an ideal place
  to stay. Stay at Upstairs on Vine, eat at Artisan, and drink at Meritage and you won't be disappointed!

  My family and I were juggling for DAYS trying to coordinate our visit to Paso Robles -- we had my Mom (needed a room of her own); my brother and wife (room), 2 sisters (room)...all coming in at different times and from different places. We wanted to all be together. Places were booked solid for the weekend except for a room here and there...(Hampton, Paso Robles Inn, etc). Upstairs on Vine kept coming up as a possibility but we hesitated because of the cost and whether or not we would be making the best use of it for the days we had it.
  
  Kathy (and Becky) at Upstairs on Vine were wonderful throughout this process! We went back and forth about staying there...and then, finally, booked it (even though we were not all going to be there for the Friday night stay).
  
  And then the magic began -- our plans finally were solid, we COULD all stay the entire time, and finally arrived at Upstairs on Vine!! And we were so GLAD we did!
  
  Not only is the living space of Upstairs on Vine BEAUTIFUL, but it is HUGE!!! You are welcomed with a bottle of wine, the KITCHEN is gourmet style with an island...the bedrooms are deluxe and comfortable, the bathrooms, everything is very SPACIOUS. The red sofabed is COMFORTABLE. My brother brought in red roses for the dining table...we immediately put on the music (CD's provided and good sound) - although, for some reason, figuring out how to play the CD took a little while (a little note might help here). If you want your visit to Paso Robles to include an AESTHETICALLY pleasing space with lots of room and opportunity to entertain in or come and go, Upstairs on Vine is perfect! Really lovely AND great for groups...we all stayed there very comfortably.
  
  We spent time on the front porch watching the world go by AND (the best part) walked everywhere!! When we arrived the Concert in the Park was in full swing (Monte Mills and the Lucky HorseShoe Band were playing, how lucky is that??!)

  Cozy apartment, perfect for two to three couples. Front and back patios to sit out on and enjoy a glass of wine. Walking distance to the downtown square and close to wineries. We had a wonderful stay!!

  The place was well stocked with was really nice; shampoo, lotion, paper towel. No broom which would have been nice and the coffee maker took forever to make a pot of coffee. Other than that the place was amazing and we would love to go back!

  Great place to spend time with friends and relax after a day of wine tasting! We loved how convenient it was to town and access to west side wine activities. Upstairs on Vine is beautifully decorated and very comfortable! We will return again!

  We had the most wonderful time in Paso Robles - and staying at Upstairs in Vine played so much a part of this. Fantastic sized rooms, extremely functional - particularly as we travelled with 2 young children - everything was spotless and the kitchen had everything that we needed - and more! Although we had an extremely busy time in Paso it was topped off by my husband and I, on our last night, sitting outside with a glass of wine overlooking Vine street. WIsh we lived a little closer - just perfect, as was all the assistance provided by Kathy! Thank you so much.

  Upstairs on Vine was the perfect home away from home for me and my husband. Everything about the property exceeded our expectations and although we generally like to travel to new places, Paso Robles and this property are high on our list for a revisit. In particular, the bed was extremely comfortable; the kitchen well furnished (including a good gas grill on the back porch); and supplies were provided for the full size washer/dryer. Paso has an excellent market, Scolari's, as well as an Albertson's just a short drive away. We stayed a week; but would have very been comfortable for an even longer stay.
