Things that make this Vineyard Drive House unique are the walking trails that meander around the property and a duck pond with a hammock and tree swing. A small orchard of fruit trees offer a seasonal array of fruit that is available for our guests' enjoyment.

Vineyard House Drive was built in the late 1980’s by Georgi Van de Kamp of Van de Kamp Bakeries, Lawry’s restaurants and Lawry’s Seasoning Salts. On a trip to Australia, Mrs. Van de Kamp fell in love with the architecture of the houses in the Outback region
of the country. When she returned to the U.S., she asked C. Wakefield Smith, her architect, to design a home based on the style she fell in love with in Australia. With the help of local builder Will Bateman, her dream house was created.
